HAU Valiant Esports Club 3-Peats in Alliance Games Wild Rift

HAU’s Valiant Esports Club secured a 3-peat championship after a 3-1 comeback win against FIT’s TEC Mayhem in the Alliance Games Season 1 League of Legends: Wild Rift Grand Finals at CONQuest Festival 2022.

Valiant’s journey for a 3-peat League of Legends: Wild Rift championship initially did not start smoothly as they were beaten at Game 1 of the grand finals. During that game, Valiant merely kept up with the pace as Mayhem took the reins of the early game. Valiant had multiple chances to turn the tides but was all taken away by Mayhem. As the game approached the 20-minute mark, Valiant tried to slow the game but Mayhem ultimately prevailed.

Unfortunately, Game 1 would be the only game played live at the CONQuest Festival 2022 main stage as the second game was plagued by technical difficulties that eventually led to the postponement and eventual offstage (and off-stream) resumption of the match. Lucky for Valiant, they were able to turn things around during the resumption of the match’s games and won the series 3-1.

With that said, Valiant Esports Club took first place along with PHP 25,000, championship jerseys, and merchandise from AcadArena. The organization also finished 3rd overall at the All 5 of the Alliance Games Season 1 which granted them scholarships & aid worth PHP 15,000.
