United City FC, the leading football club in the Philippines, has become the first professional football club that has set up its own eSports division with teams participating in “The Nationals” (Philippines Professional eSports League) and in leading games competitions such as Valorant, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and sports titles under EA (FIFA) and Konami (PES), as well as entering the Mobile Legends franchise league in the Philippines, scheduled for early 2022. An estimated 45 million gamers are playing in the Philippines and 10 million downloads of “Mobile Legends,” topping the most played game.

UCFC eSports is owned entirely by UCFC and aspires to be a cross-over between football and esports communities.
